MyDogLikes has integrated a point system for users based on community activity.  These points will be used as a basis for contests and giveaways.  They will also serve as a measure of a users experience and reputation.  Your point totals are displayed in your profile by clicking the community tab, and right in the forum under your post count.

You can see a breakdown of your earned points by clicking "my points" under the community tab. 

The rules for earning points are as follows:

Registration 

New User - Every user will earn 10 points for registering to MyDogLikes.com

Daily Activity

Daily Login - A user will earn 1 point per day for simply logging in to MyDogLikes.com

Community

Reply Topic - Everytime a user posts in the forum they will earn 1 point (posts must be longer than 20 characters)

Post New Topic - Each time a user starts a new thread they will earn 2 points

Post Comment - Whenever a user comments on an article they earn 1 point

Status Update - 1 point is earned for a user updating their status on their profile page 

Review Listing - A user will earn 8 points for every approved product listing

Product Review - A user will earn 5 points for every approved product review

Image Upload - Every picture uploaded will earn the user 2 points 

Invite - A user will earn 3 points for every invite sent from their community tab

Invite Success - A user will earn 10 points for every new member that registers based on their referral
